Ratings

An insurance rating is an opinion of the rating agency of the insurance company's financial capacity to meet the obligations of its insurance policies in accordance with their terms. Each of these independent rating organizations has assigned its rating based on a variety of factors, including the company's operating performance, asset quality, financial flexibility, and capitalization. A rating is not a recommendation to purchase, sell, or hold insurance contracts. Ratings are subject to change at any time. The insurer may have paid a fee to the rating agency.

The Asset Protection Division provides service contracts, GAP products and credit insurance in all states. Its principal credit insurance underwriter, Protective Life Insurance Company (not licensed in New York), has an A.M. Best insurer financial strength rating of A+ (superior, 2nd highest of 15 ratings). In New York the credit insurance underwriter is Protective Life Insurance and Annuity Company and has an A.M. Best insurer financial strength rating of A+ (superior, 2nd highest of 15 ratings). Its principal service contract and GAP underwriter, Lyndon Property Insurance Company (not licensed in New York), has an A.M. Best insurer financial strength rating of A- (Excellent, 4th highest of 15 ratings). In New York the service contract and GAP underwriter is Old Republic Insurance Company and has an A.M. Best insurer financial strength rating of A+ (Superior, 2nd highest of 15 ratings). Protective Life Insurance Company has a Standard and Poor’s rating of AA- (very strong, 4th highest of 21 ratings), a Fitch rating of A (strong, 6th highest of 21 ratings), and a Moody’s rating of A2 (good, 6th highest of 21 ratings). Go Pro HD Hero Camera Rules and Regulations

By "Liking" the Protective FPC Marine Facebook page the individual is automatically enrolled in a drawing for an Go Pro HD Hero Camera with a retail value up to $495. FPC will award one camera each calendar year, through a random drawing, to the marine dealership the individual works for. Only marine/powersports dealerships who have "liked" the FPC Marine Facebook page or the FPC Powersports Facebook Page are eligible to win. Employees of Protective are not eligible to participate or win. The camera drawing will be held May 1st, 2012. Protective will pay for the cost of the camera and shipping costs. The winner will be notified via telephone call or e-mail within two weeks of the drawing. Recipient of the camera agrees to allow Protective to feature the dealership on the Facebook page as the winner. Other restrictions may apply.
