Brent Griggs - President
Brent is responsible for leading and directing nine senior officers and over 350 employees of the Asset Protection Division. A graduate of Brigham Young University, Brent spent 14 years in various finance and marketing positions with Chevron Oil. He entered the service contract industry with several companies before assuming his current role. Brent is driven to build organizations into world-class competitors, identifying the talents of hard working people and helping them to achieve their goals as they grow within the organization. Brent and his wife Mary are the parents of five sons and enjoy international travel to historic destinations.

M. Scott Karchunas - Executive Vice President
Scott has been with Protective for 21 years. A graduate of Notre Dame University, with an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Scott has served in a variety of roles within Protective including Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Division Vice President and Regional Vice President. Elevated to his current role in 2009, Scott enjoys being a part of a growing company focused on delivering the highest value to its customers and shareholders. Scott is married with two children and lives in the St. Louis area where he enjoys running, golf and spending time with his family.

Gregg Cariolano – Chief Financial Officer
Gregg joined Protective in 2000 and brings 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. As the Chief Financial Officer of the company, Gregg is responsible for many areas of the division including reinsurance accounting and the risk management functions. A graduate of St. Cloud State University, with an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Gregg enjoys leading and mentoring his team while looking at fresh opportunities to drive new business success. A father of six, Gregg and his family make their home in St. Louis where he enjoys spending time with his six children, and is involved in youth hockey.

Rick Kurtz – Vice President Dealer Sales
Two decades of experience with Protective make Rick well-suited for his dual roles as leader of Dealer and RV sales, as well as head of Protective’s Customer Relations Team. A graduate of Penn State University, Rick has risen through the management ranks, serving as an Account Executive, National Trainer, Regional Vice President of Sales and Division Vice President of Sales. Rick's passion and energy continue to drive a results-oriented sales organization that is committed to delivering competitive, innovative business solutions. Rick, his wife Yvette, and his two sons enjoy school activities, sporting events, fly fishing and Penn State football. A transplanted native of Philadelphia, Rick and his family reside in St. Louis.

Janet Hanson – President FPC
Janet has been with the Protective Team for over 20 years, starting first as a consultant before coming onboard full time in 1989. A graduate of The University of Wisconsin, Janet's background includes leadership roles in commercial real estate and public accounting. She thrives on teaching new concepts to her team that ultimately spawn creativity and growth. She is a proud Green Bay Packer fan, residing in the Minneapolis area. Married with three daughters, Janet enjoys golfing and spending time with her family and one grandson.

Chris Bernish – Vice President FPC Sales
Chris oversees the dealer sales area of the Marine and Powersports operations for Protective. A graduate of Illinois State University, with a Master's Degree from Southern Methodist University, Chris served in a variety of roles with several Fortune 500 companies managing sales, marketing, customer support and technical operations before joining Protective in 2004. He is committed to building a strong customer-focused sales and support organization at FPC while coaching his team members to achieve new levels of success. Chris enjoys skiing, mountain biking and boating. He resides in the Minneapolis area with his wife and two children.

Bill Koster – Vice President, Recreation Vehicle and Specialty Products
Bill has been with Protective for 5 years, joining the company after a 21-year career with Deutsche Financial, ITT and GE supporting their service contract business. A graduate of Truman State with an MBA from the University of Dallas, Bill oversees all areas of Protective’s RV business in the U.S. and Canada. Bill's passion lies in expanding Protective's market share in Canada and providing innovative products to the RV industry. Married and the father of two sons, Bill lives in St Louis where, in his free time, he enjoys sports, reading and music.
